Daniela Vettori creates this pendant with the intention of paying homage to the discovery of the Crocodilus Vicetinus by the naturalist Paolo Lioy, which occurred in 1865.
Unfortunately, the original find was destroyed, but inspired by the photos and drawings, Daniela created this small wearable sculpture in 925 silver of the fossil crocodile.
The Crocodilus Vicentinus pendant is presented during the centenary commemoration of Paolo Lioy and exhibited for the occasion at the La Vigna Library in Vicenza.
This pendant is the perfect gift for archeology and geology enthusiasts, perfect to wear with the black leather cord.
The 925 silver pendant was worked according to the ancient lost wax technique in our goldsmith's workshop in Vicenza.
Dimensions: length 7.3, maximum width 2.5 cm.
