Bracelets ordered in October 2024 will be delivered from November 10.
This bracelet is handmade by Magal in 18 kt gold and 925 silver, each bracelet will be a unique piece.
Free interpretation applied to precious metals of the Japanese technique Gintsugi of ceramic repair, literally "repair with silver".
The original technique involves the repair of ceramic artefacts with urushi lacquer and silver powder. In this bracelet Magal reverses the concept of her Kintsugi line, where the silver plate is repaired with gold, by inverting the two precious metals. The base plate this time is in 18 kt yellow gold, the breakage is always random and is repaired in 925 silver.
The meaning of Gintsugi is that of the importance of repairing after breaking, it is what makes the object unique. Just like the healed wounds, real, relational or metaphysical, that make us unique.
The bracelet will be similar but never the same as the one in the photo, each bracelet is made up of a double face 18 kt gold and silver plate.
Available in two sizes: 16cm and 18cm.
