The precious "Double Bamboo" collection consisting of necklace, brooch/pendant and ring in 750 gold and diamonds is on display since December 13th, 2018 in the Design Room of the Museo del Gioiello in Vicenza - the project of Italian Exhibition Group Spa in partnership with the Municipality of Vicenza - for the biennial exhibition 2019-2020, renewing for the biennial 2021-2022!

This collection has made the history of Daniela Vettori’s company and we are very proud that some specimens have been chosen to be exhibited at the prestigious Museum, the first in Italy and one of the few in the world entirely dedicated to the world of jewelry.

The setting up of this room was curated by the director herself, Alba Cappellieri, with the aim of giving visibility to those "designers without design" as she defines them. In other words, those designers who have expressed themselves only through the art of jewelry and who are often also homini fabri, that is artisans in the most noble sense of the term.

For too long these people have been placed on the sidelines of the universe of designers and with the exhibition of the two-year period 2019-2020 the Director wants to give the right emphasis to these figures such as Daniela Vettori.

Artist by vocation but above all, an artisan of that breed that not only gets its hands dirty with graphite but also brings the work she conceived to complete realization.

Daniela gets the inspiration for the Bamboo collection after returning from a trip to Japan.

She wanted to transpose into a jewel the strong impression she had when seeing the bamboo forests in the land of the Rising Sun for the first time. Those forests were so organized, with trees with a thin but resistant trunk, "knobby" yet always elegantly straight.

Imprinting this emotion in the precious metal Daniela puts herself in it, and the bamboo remains straight but achieves sinuosity to the point of becoming almost sensual.

The variations of the collection over the years have been many and have always been all unique, unrepeatable pieces, which can only be forged by the hand of craftsmen artists with lots of experience behind them.

Regarding this, Daniela has passed down the "secret" art of shaping Bamboo to just a single person.

The collection that you can admire at the Museum is made of 750 gold and diamonds and has been worked with hammer fire through long hours of design and fabrication.
